Mark it on your calendar for next year, because the World Long Drive Championships makes for some really good television.
Englishman Joe Miller won the contest for the second time this year, and the final was predictably tense. The rules are quite simple: each player gets eight chances to hit a ball as far as they can within a grid – after that, the longest drive wins.
And so it came down to Miller, who after some wayward drives early, left himself with three chances to win. He delivered, thanks to this 423 yard bomb.
